Thus, castings are typically not integrated into the system until the full-scale production phase is implemented. The Thermo-Jet Modeler The Thermo-Jet is a machine that uses a patented print-head technology to dispense heated wax in layers to create physical part out of wax. The Thermo-Jet machine is driven by the CAD data and can produce parts up to 8 inches in length. This allows Modern Investment Casting to test more ideas in less time and decrease time-to-market for many businesses in an on-demand, just-in-time market. Modern Investment Casting currently utilizes Thermo-Jet patterns as wax pattern substitutes in their investment casting process.
