Grinding
After a cooling period, the trees are conveyed for removal of the ceramic casing.

The operator will determine what equipment to use, fixtures, characteristic tolerances and the appropriate sequence of steps for cutting the individual parts off the tree.

Inspection
Connection stubs are ground to the casting contour and each part is visually inspected by the in-process operator for uniformity and quality.

This allows MICC to review the product and make necessary process improvements on any of the previous process steps.
