Assembly
Arrays of precision wax patterns are set to a tree for coating as a unit.
As a quality-control step, each part is carefully inspected along the
way for any defect. The assembler will observe the part and visually
evaluate it before it is placed to the tree.

Ceramic Mold
Assembled wax patterns are conveyed for coating with a
ceramic slurry and refractory grain. The process is repeated
until hard 3/16" shell is formed.
The operator ensures that the coating process is in optimal quality
condition. |
